Complete Children’s Health April Enewsletter

Welcome to the Autumn edition of the CCH enewsletter. As the days get shorter, the weather cooler and the summer holidays a distant memory, it’s hard to believe we have nearly reached the end of term one! Hopefully, all the small (and not so small) people have settled into the new routines for the year, whether it be daycare, kindergarten, primary or secondary school. Relationships with new caregivers, teachers and classmates often do take weeks to establish, and these early days can be stressful for children and parents alike. It can take time for a new teacher or new school to fully understand a child with additional needs.
The benefit of a good handover and an early meeting in the year to discuss an Individual learning/needs/behaviour plan cannot be underestimated.
