Mrs Melissa Juzva
Melissa Juzva is a child, Educational & Developmental Psychologist. Melissa is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Melissa studied at Monash University and, having completed her Master’s thesis on children with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, she has a keen interest in this area.
Melissa started her career as a psychologist with the Department of Education 12 years ago, she then spent 2 years at an Independent Grammar school followed by 4 years at the Catholic Education Office. Most recently, Melissa spent 6 years at a Prep-12 College where she was head of Counselling. Melissa has strong connections with all sectors of education and believes it is imperative to work closely with schools to assist them in supporting the young people she works with. She also holds full and college memberships of the Australian Psychological Society and is a recognised supervisor.
Melissa specialises in child and adolescent issues such as autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and depression, behavioural difficulties, ADHD, intellectual and learning disabilities, grief and loss, school refusal, parenting, bullying, and anger management.
