Dr. Trusha Brys
Dr. Trusha Brys has a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCH) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She currently works as a paediatrician.
Dr. Brys trained in South Africa, and worked in both the UK and New Zealand before completing her paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Her experience is in the management of a wide range of medical, developmental and behavioural problems in children and young people. Dr. Brys is a sessional specialist at the Royal Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Department Follow Up Clinic and the Victorian Forensic Paediatric Medical Service (VFPMS).
She is currently completing a Masters in Forensic Medicine. Dr. Brys is a Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) educational supervisor and lecturer for Melbourne University Medical students.
Dr. Brys has an interest in developmental and behavioural issues, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, continence and constipation, sleep issues, upper airway issues, infant health and feeding issues, and general paediatric issues.
Dr. Brys is a mother of two very active boys.
