Complete Children’s Health is pleased to announce that we are once again accepting General Paediatric Referrals.
All referrals are carefully reviewed by our triaging and/or clinical team to determine eligibility and appointment availability. Families whose referrals are accepted can expect to be contacted within approximately 6 weeks of the referral being received.
*Please note some doctors are still not accepting new referrals so please address your referral to Complete Children’s Health so we can allocate you a paediatrician without delay.*
Important Referral Requirements
To ensure we can contact families promptly regarding appointments, referrals must include:
- A valid mobile phone number
- A current email address
Referrals received without a mobile phone number may be declined unless there are documented privacy or safety considerations.
Current Wait Times:
Behavioural & Developmental Referrals Estimated wait time: 6-9 months
Including referrals relating to:
- ADHD & learning difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Developmental concerns
- Behavioural concerns
Medical Paediatric Referrals Estimated wait time: 1-3 months
If your GP believes your referral is urgent, please ask their clinic to confirm that the referral has been received and advise our triaging team of the urgency.

Consent Form for Separated Parents
Both parents must complete and sign a consent form for separated parents – this form is required before any treatment can proceed. Unfortunately, we cannot schedule an appointment for your child without a signed consent form. Any interim or legal orders relating to the care, protection or medical treatment of your children must also be provided prior to your first appointment.
If parents separate during the course of a child’s treatment you must ALERT us ASAP and complete the form.
