Katherine Gayton – Clinical Psychologist

Katherine Gayton is a Clinical Psychologist ( B. Psych, B.AppSci (Psych) (Hons), M.Psych (Clinical) dedicated to supporting children and adolescents aged 4–18 years. She has extensive experience working with young people facing social, emotional, behavioural, and academic challenges, drawing on her background in hospital, community mental health, and educational settings.

Katherine will be focusing solely on assessments and will be working from our Keilor rooms.

Katherine provides a range of psychological assessments, including:

  • Cognitive assessments
  • Educational assessments
  • Adaptive functioning evaluations
  • Mental health disorder screeners
  • Autism assessments
  • ADHD assessments
  • Executive functioning assessments

Endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist and a Board-approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), Katherine is committed to working collaboratively with young people, their families, and schools to foster positive outcomes.

Passionate about the long-term benefits of psychological assessments, she takes a strengths-based approach to identifying each individual’s unique abilities while providing tailored recommendations to support personal growth and success.

Katherine works with Imesha Vitanege, who is accepting referrals for a Provisional Psychologist (working under supervision) for children and adolescents aged 4–18 years.
Imesha supports young people with anxiety, low mood, ADHD/Autism-related challenges (including routines, emotion regulation, and social skills), school difficulties, friendship issues, resilience, coping skills, and offer parent coaching.
